Roller shades, as the term implies, are shades mounted on a roller secured across the top of the window frame. The shades are available with manual or motorized operation, with a variety of styles and materials to choose from. These styles, among others, include translucent, open-weave, and blackout.

Shades can also be printed on with custom pictures or company logos.
